The one where....She forgot the title

This week had a lot happen. It was transfer week and Sister Mitchell moved to Hutchinson. And my new companion is......Sister Butikofer!! She just came from Ridgepoint which is my favorite area on my mission. So we already have that in common. She is so awesome! She has been out for 5 months. She writes her own music. She is really good!!

Sister Butikofer, my new companion

Transfer got delayed till Thursday due to the weather in Dallas. All of the incoming missionaries were stuck in Dallas so we had to delay transfers. We got the news on Tuesday afternoon. Sister Mitchell wad all ready to go but we had to unpack a few of her things for another day. It added a little adventure to this week.

We drove to Wichita and I picked up Sister Butikofer and we headed back to Junction City. We weren't able to find anyone this week but God definitely blessed us.

Last transfer
We were sitting at church yesterday. Nobody was going to come and we were really sad. But after 1st ward's Sacrament meeting, our district leader came up to us and said, "hey! This is Adigan!" Adigan is thr person we have on date that we thought he had to pass off to Missouri. But he came to our ward and we had no idea he was coming!! I have never met him in person. Ot was only ever over the phone. So it was a huge miracle that we were able to meet him at church on yesterday.

The members here have been so helpful in our missionary work. We have had so many members present in our lessons recently. They are so awesome! That was one of my goals this transfer was to have more member involvement. And it's working!!

I read a conference talk a while ago from October of 2021 that I really liked. It's called Lovest Thou Me More Than These by M. Russell Ballard. These are the series of Scriptures that go with the talk.

John 21:15-17
15 ¶ So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. 16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep

We are all missionaries. You don't have to be wearing a name tag to do missionary work. We are all commanded to gather Israel. That is president Nelson's big push right now. I am so grateful to be apart of it right now in a way that I will never have the opportunity to repeat. I am trying to cherish every last moment. I know this to be true:)
